Nordic Chamber of Commerce organized on 13 October at the Regent Esplanade hotel a business breakfast on PRINCE2 & EU Project Management.  The guest speaker was Mr Kim Bretting, Director, RELINK Croatia. There were 25 participants attending the event.

Monday, 26 October. On the occasion of forthcoming Nordic Days 2009 Green, Clean & Sustainable, 2-4 November 2009, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce organized press conference at The Regent Esplanade hotel. Mr Terje Hauge, Ambassador of Norway, Mr Per Bäckman, Head of Economic and Commercial Affairs Embassy of Sweden, Mr Jens Erik Grondahl, First Secretary Embassy of Norway and Ms Gordana Fuštar, Executive Director of the Chamber informed media representatives about the Nordic Days 2009 concept. Nordic companies in Croatia, under the umbrella of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, were chosen by the UNDP to be the forerunners of the Global Compact initiative for Croatia. Global Compact is the world's largest network of corporate social responsibility.

Nordic Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce, British- Croatian Business Network, and the Austrian Trade Commission are organizing a joint event ''Pre-Election Debate: National Economic Policies/Programs'' between representatives of leading Croatian parties, scheduled to take place on the 18th of October, at the Regent Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, starting at 19:00.

In consideration of the upcoming parliamentary elections, we feel it is vital to  inform the business community of the current and future economy plans of the parties, emphasizing their economic development programs, specifically in the fields of economic growth, free-market and investment.
