Nordic Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce, British- Croatian Business Network, and the Austrian Trade Commission are organizing a joint event ''Pre-Election Debate: National Economic Policies/Programs'' between representatives of leading Croatian parties, scheduled to take place on the 18th of October, at the Regent Esplanade Zagreb Hotel, starting at 19:00.

In consideration of the upcoming parliamentary elections, we feel it is vital to  inform the business community of the current and future economy plans of the parties, emphasizing their economic development programs, specifically in the fields of economic growth, free-market and investment.

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce has the pleasure of inviting its members and associates to the first Power Lunch in 2008. The guest of honor will be the Minister of Economy and Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Damir Polancec. The Power lunch is planned for Wednesday, 27th of February at 12:00 hrs at the Regent Eplanade.

For the second year, Nordic Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with UNHCR Croatia organized the Midsummer celebration as part of the Nordic tradition of welcoming summertime. Some 400 guests celebrated Midsummer on June 6 at Lake Bundek in Zagreb. Adults and children enjoyed barbecue, interactive games, exhibition of Nordic brands and attractive raffle. On the occasion of third Midsummer Celebration that took place on 10 June at Lake Bundek, Nordic Chamber of Commerce would like to thank its partners for their support and participation that made the Event possible and successful. Third Midsummer celebration was attended by around 400 visitors, adults and children that were able to choose between various fun activities. The luckiest participants won attractive raffle prizes.
