Nordic Chamber of Commerce organized a business breakfast on the topic of  Modern leadership.  The guest speaker was Ms. Kristina Sjostrand Ilievska, General Manager of World Class Croatia. The event took place on 29th April 2009, at the Regent Esplanade hotel, 9:30.  

 Business conference Nordic Days 2009 Green, Clean & Sustainable took place from 2 to 4 November in Zagreb, Slavonski Brod and Belgrade. The event gathered 25 Nordic and around 150 Croatian/SEE participants from green, clean and sustainable development sectors. First day was held in Zagreb where companies held business meetings according to their pre-arranged schedules. In addition, participants were able to attend 15 educational seminars held by experts from topic related sectors. On the second day Nordic participants visited Slavonski Brod and Đuro Đaković company. The third day Nordic companies held business meetings in Belgrade, also based on pre-arranged schedules.

KONČAR - GENERATORS & MOTORS Inc. signed in Oslo, 3 September 2009,  the Contract Agreement for refurbishment and increase of power of four generators in Binga Hydro Power Plant located on the Philippines with the company SN Power Aboitiz Benguet. The value of the Contract amounts to USD 12 million.

MediaNet and AIESEC are launching a comprehensive research entitled 'Most Desired Company'. The result of the research will be a list of the most desirable companies/employers in Croatia in 2009, as well as other information on needs and visions of students concerning employment. .
