General Assembly: New Governers of the Nordic Chamber

At the General Assembly of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, which took place on the 18th of December 2007 at the Regent Esplanade, the Board was extended to three new Governers - Mr. Darko Eisenhuth, general manager of ABB, Mr. Dragan Popovic, director of mobile data expertise center of Ericsson and Mr. Tibor Jerger, director of Podravka West Europe.

The Assembly also re-confirmed the mandates of the other Board members, the President (Mr. Jorgen Jorgensen), Vice-President (Mr. Kresimir Paliska), the Treasurer (Ms. Dijana Spalatin) and non-titled Governers (Mr. Irena Lucic, Mr. Sasa Mirkovic, Mr. Samir Zero and Mr. Zeljko Sundov).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Assembly also reviewed and accepted the budget for 2007 and 2008, as well as the activities plan for 2008. New events will be added, as well as lot of focus on member-to-member meetings and events with important decision makers from the  political and economic sphere. More social events will also take place.

 

The President Mr. Jorgen Jorgensen pointed out that the Chamber achieved good results in 2007: 14 new members, a positive financial result, 17 well-visited events, moving into a new office in Zagrebtower, one more team member in the Executive office (project manager for Nordic Days), good cooperation with partner Chambers (AmCham and BCBN) and successful organization of the Nordic Days in Croatia 2007 (550 Croatian and 65 Nordic companies, over 1.2 million HRK in PR, first time appearance by IKEA and other leading brands).

 

The President also thanked all the members and representatives of the Embassies for their support this year and expressed hope for continuing cooperation in 2008.
