A webinar on “Restrictive Covenants in Croatia”

Nordic Chamber of Commerce had a pleasure to organize a webinar on the topic “Restrictive Covenants in Croatia” with Vidan Law Office, member company of the Chamber, that took place on Thursday, 2 December 2021. The event was cooperated with our colleagues from Italian Croatia Chamber of Commerce and was attended by their member companies.

The purpose of the webinar was to acquaint audience/employers about their statutory rights from employment relationship and contractual possibilities they may exercise after employment to protect their legitimate business against unfair competition by former employees. Within the webinar the attendees had an opportunity to learn about various legal institutes from employment such as statutory prohibition of competition, post-employment prohibition of competition, garden leave, non-dealing and non-solicitation clauses including validity requirements, maximum term and enforcement procedure characteristics. Special focus was given on practical side including the court practice. The webinar was led by our guest speaker, Mr Hrvoje Vidan, Lawyer and founder of Vidan Law Office, and raised huge interest among participants.
