Business breakfast on “Legal aspects of financing business in Croatia”

Nordic Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Croatia organized a business breakfast and lecture with Law firm Žurić i Partneri, on Thursday 11 April 2019, at Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb.
The lecture on the topic “Legal aspects of financing business in Croatia” gathered representatives from Nordic-Italian-Croatian companies with interest in the topic, such as financial managers (CFO), business professionals in legal departments, accountants, business consultants, bankers and investors. Participants had opportunity to learn about key legal aspects of financing business in Croatia and get more detailed insight in the sources of financing business by covering following aspects:
- Collaterals
- Praxis of syndicated loans
- Upstream guarantees
- (In)validity of loans by foreign lenders
The event raised huge interest among members of Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Croatia and their business partners, and was followed by Q&A related to the topic. This was also an excellent opportunity for networking and establishment of new business contacts among representatives of Nordic-Italian-Croatian business community.
