Political debate gathered leading parties' policy makers

The pre-election debate on economic policies, organized by the Nordic Chamber of Commerce, AmCham and BCBN, gathered around 200 guests and 5 leading parties in Croatia. Speakers were Damir Polancec (HDZ), Ljubo Jurcic (SDP), Radimir Cacic (HNS), Davor Stern (HSLS) and Marko Kolakovic (HSP). The debate was moderated by Toncica Celjuska and although planned to last around 60 minutes, it continued for around two hours. Sponsor: Pricewaterhouse Coopers. The Debate was held on Thursday, 18 October 2007 starting at 19:00 at the Regent Esplanade Zagreb Hotel (Emerald Ballroom). Our guests presented their parties economic programs, and answered questions concerning the accelleration of economic growth, strategy for investment incentives, energy sources and others. Representatives of all leading media were present and there was a significant media coverage of the event on the Croatian Television, leading dailies and weeklies.
