Visit to Carlsberg Croatia and Hartmann, Koprivnica

Nordic Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with company members, Carlsberg Croatia and Hartmann, organized on 6 October 2011 a day trip to Koprivnica. Upon the initiative of the Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Croatia, and in cooperation with Carlsberg Croatia and Hartmann, around 30 participants, representatives of member companies and partners of the Chamber, as well as representatives of several embassies, had the opportunity to visit two successful Nordic companies, both located in the City of Koprivnica.

Upon arrival to Carlsberg, visitors were welcomed by Mr. Thomas Kure Jakobsen, CEO Carlsberg Croatia and given a short presentation of the company, followed by a guided tour of the brewery.

Second part of the program included visit to Hartmann premises where Mr. Boris Garaj, Chairmen of the Board and Mrs. Melita Bači, Managing Director, respectively, addressed the visitors and presented the company. The official program ended by the guided tour of the Hartmann premises.

Mr. Mršić, Mayor of the City of Koprivnica welcomed the visitors at both companies’ premises and spoke from the perspective of the City of Koprivnica outlining the potentials that the City and the entire County offer to potential investors.

Nordic Chamber of Commerce initiated this visit with the objective to present two successful Nordic business models implemented in Koprivnica and also to give its members and partners an opportunity to establish new relations and exchange business ideas and experience.
