Finnair best in Northern Europe

Finnair has been named the Best Airline in Northern Europe at the World Airline Awards 2011 event held in Paris.  The result is that of the global Skytrax World Airline Survey which is based on passenger feedback.  The survey is regarded as a yardstick in the airline world and it takes into account, for example, departure procedures, seat comfort, cleanliness of cabins and service.
The award and the customer feedback that it represents are excellent indications that our customers truly appreciate the service we provide and the work of our people, says Customer Services Manager Anssi Komulainen. Also known as the Passenger Choice Awards, the study is the only global and independent airline customer satisfaction survey.
This time a total of 18.8 million passengers from more than 100 countries took part and more than 200 airlines were assessed. Finnair won the Best Airline Northern Europe category.
