Cargotec cargo handling equipment for eight Chinese ships

Cargotec has agreed to deliver electrically-powered MacGregor cargo handling cranes and design and key components for hatch covers for eight general cargo vessels. 

The vessels are being built by the Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding company in China for the China Navigation Company Ltd and to be delivered in 2013.  The value of the order is more than 20 million euros and it includes an option for supplying MacGregor equipment for a further eight ships, in other words an additional order of equivalent scope.
